We are very proud to present a new member of Team Betsafe. This time you will get to know Marcus Gustafsson. Marcus is one of the best Swedish Parkour athletes.

- Hello Marcus, Can you tell us about yourself?
- Hello, My name is Marcus Gustafsson. I am born 1988 close to the town Helsingborg in Southern Sweden.

– What did you do before you started with Parkour?
- My background is 10 years of gymnastics. I got tired of having a trainer that always told me what to do, so I started of with some somersaults outside on the beach. This was five years ago and back then I didn´t now exactly what I was doing.

- I hadn´t heard about the definition Parkour then and I didn´t do that until I participated in my first competition in 2007.

– What has happened since your first competition?
- Parkour / freerunning was a beginning of something new for me. Me and my collegue Filip Ljungberg started to make shows and small appearances. Four years later vi have some big companys that we work togheter with, not only in Sweden but also in Europe and USA.

- What is your results so far?
- I have competed in some international competitions and I have to say that I´m very happy with my results.

- Do you have some other interests?
- I don´t have many other interest but I try to keep updated on all extreme sports. It´s really fun to see what others can do with or without equipment.
