It was Gunn from Saranger in Norway who won our casino competition and now can enjoy the trip to Oslo and the Eurovision Song Contest in late May.
Tore Dahl from Mo i Rana is the winner of a trip to London and tickets to Chelsea-Wigan.
The match is part of the final round in the Premier League and Dahl may be in the right place when Chelsea celebrates the league title in England? The London-team leads Premier League narrowly ahead of Manchester United.
- It suits me very good that it was tickets to Chelsea. I have been with the team for about 10-15 years now.
Dahl can now look forward to at least 90 minutes at the renowned Stamford Bridge below:

There’s always something going on at Betsafe.com and we’ve just had a casino competition. In the pot, we had a trip for two people with flight, hotel and tickets to the match between Manchester United and Tottenham next weekend (April 24).

We are starting the countdown
As of right now we will start to announce the winners of our exclusive and awesome Betsafe Driver competition. As you already know, we’re down to ten hard working contestants who, in our opinion, all deserve to win.
But it’s sooo darn hard
To sit down and sort these guys, to decide which contribution is better than the other, has been close to impossible. However, the jury’s work is starting to show some results. Throughout this week we will present the sorted top ten, countdown style.
But we have to anyways
A major topic that became important to our rally jury, was that none of these shall be left with only some Betsafe gear. “ALL of these guys are worthy of at least getting tickets to any of the events”. Of course they are, so we started to work hard to make sure that everyone will be involved in the Gumball 3000 of 2010 as part of the Betsafe crew. Let’s dominate this year’s Gumball together!

A winner – closer than ever
We have never been this close folks! Literary, this fight is close! The jury is scratching their heads to find a winner. We wish we had more cars in the rally to put you guys in. We are flattered that we have the honour to have fans like you guys!
The final 10
The jury has spoken and now we have 10 finalists in the Betsafe Driver competition. One of these 10 will win a driver’s seat in our Porsche Panamera and will get to participate in the Gumball 3000 of 2010, from London to New York.

The jury has then been thinking, quietly as well as loud, and discussing a lot about which five that should go through to the final. Their final decision has now been made. Andrew has put a lot of efforts in to the production of his video. He has also shown a lot of commitment to the competition itself and shown a great attitude. He has been creative in many ways, not only with creating the video but also with how to promote himself, his video and the Betsafe competition.

This dane has shown great skill in promoting his video. He has gotten himself into several articles where he has promoted himself (at first as the challenger to the leader who at the time were Ivar from Norway). He has also created fan pages and been active on Facebook to promote his video and entry. Very active within the car community and seems to have loads of experience behind the wheels.

Another creative soul that made a video that went right in to the jury’s hearts. “Kind of makes you happy” someone said right away. Mr JJ has also been creative by ie. registering his own domain that went right to his entry.

An early entry that put the bar high when it comes to creativity, certainly one of the best videos. Brian who made the entry has also shown much interest in the competition and been very active all through the competition. How about making Tony Hawk tweet a link to give him votes – pretty awesome.

Ben made his own Betsafe shirt. We can only imagine how he sat at home struggling to make it. Ben also made an outside video BEFORE we added the possibility to upload videos. This means he sat in his car, with a wifi connection and recorded it live. Not to mention the great number of votes he has managed to collect. Powerful and cool video.

Johan ran like a rocket up the leaderboard as he used some link juice from his own video site and constantly pushed his video each day. A different approach on the video and fun to watch. We are not sure what’s up with the hat, but this was the most popular hat in all videos. In fact 5 videos featured this kind of hat.

Paul has made tremendous efforts and put loads of energy in to get his video in to the top 2. For a long time he was in an superior lead, only to be knocked down just before the end. Paul has engaged the whole car community of Montreal to spread his word and it has certainly payed off. Impressive skills in spreding the social media message.

Ivar must be considered the pioneer of this competition. Ivar pushed the envelope and set an example that everyone else who wanted to win had to follow. Ivar has been on several websites, on Norweigan radio and in newspapers promoting his mission. Ivar also has a Facebook Fan Page with almost 1000 members at the moment.

Step one of Betsafe Driver is now complete. The top 5 entries have made it into the final 10 and the remaining 5 will be chosen by the jury over the next week.
